ITA Airways has secured the delivery of its first Airbus A330neo as part of its continued growth plans and acquisition of fuel-efficient aircraft.
A delivery ceremony was held in Toulouse to mark the occasion that the airline secured the jet on a lease from Air Lease Corporation, a leading aircraft leasing company supplying aircraft to airlines globally.
The A330neo will begin flying on long-haul routes for ITA Airways next month, with the airline remaining an all-Airbus operator featuring A220s, A320s, A330-200s and A350-900s. Therefore, adding the Airbus A330neo to the equation, they’ll boost their efficiency further and add capacity to important future routes.

The first A330-900 is registered as EH-HJN and comes equipped with 30 business class seats, 24 in premium economy and lastly 237 economy seats. Eventually, there’ll also be a further 16 per Cirium fleet data delivered.
