Delta Announces Hawaii and Miami Expansion

Delta has announced plans to expand service towards Miami and Hawaii in time for the 2024/25 winter season to boost its network.

Delta has announced plans to expand service to Hawaii and Miami, with new routes announced as their leisure market deepens in connections.

The services will be launched next winter for those wishing to travel to sunnier and warmer weather locations and come from two leading locations Delta operates from.

Delta adds that the Boeing 767-300ER and the next-generation Airbus A321neo fleet will be deployed on the newly announced services.

Hawaii Gets Delta Service Boost

The major U.S. airline will offer 22 daily nonstop flights to Hawaii next winter, with a new upcoming seasonal service from Boston to Honolulu boosting that.

Service between these locations is expected to commence on November 21, 2024, and conclude on April 30, 2025. This route is what Delta describes as a substantial enhancement on their previously scheduled services to the likes of Flordia, Mexico, and the Caribbean from Boston.

An additional daily frequency will be added between Salt Lake City and Honolulu. This seasonal flight will mean the airline will offer two daily flights from November 6, 2024, through March 29, 2025

Service resumption between Atlanta and Maui will mean that Delta will become the only airline to service the pair from the Eastern part of the United States. Similarly, this service is seasonal, beginning on November 21 2024, and concluding on March 29, 2025.

Miami Welcomes New Service

From December 21, 2024, Delta says it’s increasing its commitment to Miami, with service between the location and Seattle set to commence.

As a result of the new daily year-round flight, Delta will fly 38 peak-day departures to a total of 13 destinations from Miami in time for the busy winter season.

Ultimately, Seattle will now receive enhanced connectivity across the United States thanks to the latest announcement by the airline. The airline says it’s building momentum around this city, with routes towards the likes of Taipei also recently starting.
