American Airlines has once more committed to the Embraer family for Envoy Air during the 2023 Paris Airshow.

The company will take seven new E175s and be deployed across the Envoy Air network from the 4th quarter of 2023.

Envoy Air’s fleet will continue to grow, and the role of Embraer will be only furthered undisputed, with over 140 Embraer aircraft alone by the end of 2024—a substantial figure for the Brazilian planemaker and American airline.

Our journey with Embraer began 25 years ago with the ERJ145, and our partnership continues to grow today as we take these additional aircraft and grow our all-Ejet fleet. Not only are our customers happy with the aircraft, but the jet’s outstanding performance and reliability has allowed us to continue to provide excellent service to American Airlines and the thousands of customers we serve every day

Pedro Fábregas, President & CEO of Envoy

The Embraer family of aircraft are broadly admired among travellers for its comfort levels compared to other aircraft types available on similar services.

Embraer’s President and CEO thanked American Airlines and Envoy for their trust in the Embraer product. They further say that the prospects regarding the future are incredibly exciting, especially as they look to grow their relationship.

The E175 is the backbone of the US regional network, with over 620 aircraft sold. Embraer can firmly say that since 2013 they have had an 86% market share, a fantastic figure and one the company can be incredibly proud of.

Through new iterations to the Embraer family, they’ll only look to grow that with time and in more markets away from the United States.
