Alaska Airlines Adds New Las Vegas Route

Alaska Airlines is deepening its connection across the Greater Bay Area by adding Santa Rosa to Las Vegas flights in October.

Alaska Airlines has unveiled plans to enhance its San Francisco Bay Area connections by adding Santa Rose to Las Vegas.

The new connection will commence on October 1, 2024, and will offer daily year-round service. It is the seventh nonstop destination originating from Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport.

Other cities include Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, San Diego, and Burbank, to name just a few.

Alaska Airlines says it feels a connection unlike any other with Santa Rose; not only was it the first carrier to bring commercial service to the airport so long ago, but it has remained.

Now, in the mid-2020s, the airline sits proudly as the largest airline in the location, serving nearly 2 million guests across almost two decades.

Las Vegas offers visitors a wide variety of unparalleled experiences and attractions, from world-class restaurants, A-list headliners and a full calendar of sporting events, there is always something new and exciting for travelers from the Northern California’s Wine Country to discover in Las Vegas. We are excited to welcome Alaska Airlines’ newest nonstop service from Sonoma County to Las Vegas this fall.

Additionally, service to all four Bay Area airports means passengers have fantastic flexibility in their booking. Adding Las Vegas makes this enhancement even more significant.

Alaska Airlines says it will deploy an Embraer E175 on the service, which features window and aisle seating. The lack of middle seats is a key selling point of the Embraer experience.
