Air Peace Orders Embraer E175s

Air Peace of Nigeria has announced a firm order for five Embraer E175 aircraft as part of its future fleet plans.

As part of the deal worth over USD 200 million at list price value, delivery will begin from 2024 onwards, only extending the carrier’s commitment to Embraer aircraft.

This is another important step in helping to realize our ambition to connect the entire of Nigeria with the entire African continent, while also feeding passengers onto long-haul flights from our Lagos hub. The acquisition enables us to continue delivering on our ‘no- city-left-behind’ initiative – connectivity is what our passengers, and Africa, demand. The deal also paves the way to establish local maintenance capabilities in Nigeria, with direct support from Embraer.

Mr Allen Onyema, CEO of Air Peace

Air Peace operates a fleet of around 30 aircraft, including the E195 E2, amongst many other ageing aircraft types. The 737 MAX, alongside the E195 E2, will be hugely important for long-term growth, with the delivery of the E175s enabling further.
