SalamAir has announced at the 2023 Paris Airshow it’ll acquire three Airbus A330neos as part of its continued expansion plans.

The deal will be done through Avolon, a leading aviation lessor that provides aircraft to customers right around the globe and is an essential solution in powering today’s global fleet.

The first Airbus A330neo is scheduled to be delivered to SalamAir this October. The carrier has further outlined that the additional capacity and aircraft will be helpful in operating flights to European destinations.

SalamAir has a total of 12 aircraft in-service comprising various fleet types. Their most important is the A320neo family, with A320neos and A321neos in their operations.

Avolon is excited at the prospect of adding SalamAir as a future customer and believes through the addition of the A330neo the airline can flourish in the future.
