STARLUX’s A350-1000 will commence scheduled operations within the next month as the airline opens up reservations for service.
This flagship model was delivered to the airline on 5 January 2026 and registered as B-58551, wearing a special Carbon Fibre hybrid livery unique to this aircraft.
STARLUX A350-1000 Schedule
STARLUX will launch scheduled passenger services with the A350-1000 from 10 February 2026 on the route between Taipei Taoyuan and Tokyo Narita, initially operating JX802/803 before switching to JX800/801 for the Northern Summer 2026 schedule.
The airline’s decision to deploy the flagship through to Tokyo Narita will align with strong demand visible to Tokyo, where, throughout the Summer 2026 schedule, widebody aircraft will feature prominently, per aeroroutes.com.

During periods when widebody aircraft will not be seen across Tokyo Narita operations, the single-aisle Airbus A321neo will also be featured. This model has been crucial for airlines’ short-haul operations, while delivering greater efficiency and capacity than the base A320neo.
STARLUX’s Future Plans
The A350-1000, once it becomes more familiarised across the STARLUX network, will be a game-changing aircraft for the business with bold plans already unveiled.
STARLUX intends to use this model as an aggressive piece in its long-haul expansion efforts, leveraging its range, efficiency, and premium cabin to build a more robust, expansive global route network.

With delivery of several more A350-1000s expected throughout 2026, these jets will support international expansion not just closer to home in Asia but also through Europe and the United States, specifically the East Coast.
STARLUX has ordered 18 of these aircraft, which signifies just how important the model is expected to be moving forward with corridors such as to Europe and the United States deemed
The A350-1000s Impact
Delivery of the Airbus A350-1000 for STARLUX represents a significant elevation of long-haul capabilities not seen with any other aircraft in the airline’s fleet.
With heightened fuel efficiency paired with capacity increases, the largest model in the manufacturer’s current production strengthens the Taiwan-based carrier’s position across premium markets and gives it the neccesary base to be more competitive.

If STARLUX truly wants to compete with long-standing premium and legacy airlines, adding aircraft like the A350-1000 will give the business the best chance of achieving that.
While initially featuring on services to Tokyo Narita as a debut, this will not be the primary market for the A350-1000, as more units are delivered, with a strong focus on international markets that align with the airline’s long-term global expansion strategy.
Bottom Line
STARLUX’s A350-1000 debut, commencing on 10 February 2026 through to Tokyo Narita, marks the beginning of a bold shift in the company’s long-haul flying.
As the luxury Taiwanese carrier develops its fleet and focuses on increasing capacity to international ports, leveraging aircraft such as the high-capacity Airbus widebody will be critical to achieving this, especially in targeted markets such as the United States.
