Singapore Airlines has made several changes to its flying schedule for 2026 as the Northern Summer season approaches.
Flagged by aeroroutes.com, the airline is making several shifts, including capacity upgauges to specific markets, while also suspending certain services.
Firstly, effective 1 July 2026, Singapore Airlines’ SQ706/705 service between Singapore Changi and Bangkok Suvarnabhumi will see an aircraft change, with all six daily flights to be replaced by the 787-10, previously operated by the A350-900.
Next, schedule changes will occur between Changi and Beijing Capital, with SQ800/805 service to be suspended between 11 May 2026 and 29 May 2026. Following this, from 7 July 2026 through 16 August 2026, a 777-300ER will replace the A350-900.
Additionally, between 6 July 2026 and 16 August 2026, service on flights SQ802/807 between Singapore Changi and Beijing Capital will be suspended.

Next, Singapore Airlines will continue to roll out wholesale changes across the Northern summer 2026 schedule, suspending its Beijing Daxing service from 17 August 2026 to 25 September 2026. This was previously a daily flight operated by the 787-10.
Singapore Airlines Plans Route Increases
Singapore Airlines’ service to Cairns in the Northern part of Queensland, Australia, will also add a weekly Airbus A350-900 flight, bringing the total to five flights per week.
Delhi will see an aircraft switch out across a period from 21 June 2026 through 25 July 2026, with the Airbus A380 to be replaced by the 777-300ER on SQ406/405; however, this is a move that’s routine as the airline battles seasonal traffic trends across the network and makes aircraft changes where required.

Effective as of 29 March 2026, the Airbus A380-800 will replace the 777-300ER on service through to Dubai International. This once-daily flight will be flown by the world’s largest passenger plane.
Dhaka will see capacity increase from 1 July 2026, with the SQ448/449 service made possible by three A350-900 flights per week, jumping to one daily and an aircraft switch to the 737 MAX 8.
Singapore Airlines also says that Hanoi will receive the 737 MAX 8 with the A350-900 exiting across a two-day operation on SQ194/193.
Kochi, however, effective as of 1 July 2026, will reduce from 10 flights a week (double daily service) to 10 flights, except for a period from 24 August 2026 through 3 September 2026, when the 737 MAX 8 will operate.

Across services to Mumbai, the airline will also see the Airbus A380 replaced during routine seasonal changes, with the 777-300ER operating on SQ424/423 between 26 July 2026 and 29 August 2026.
Lastly, Rome Fiumicino will see a service increase from 25 June 2026, from four to five weekly flights, with the Airbus A350-900 selected, rounding out the freshly announced changes as part of the more recent schedule filing.
As previously announced, the Airbus A380 will be deployed to other markets, such as Hong Kong and London Heathrow, to meet demand, with further operational changes to ensure adequate capacity during the busy Northern Summer schedule.
