The Singapore Airlines A380 is expected to formally return to Melbourne, Australia, from 29 March 2026, marking its first return in a couple of years.
The airline will slot the world’s largest passenger plane onto one of its many daily services, offering five daily flights to and from Changi.
The reintroduction follows 20 March 2026 filing adjustments, which indicated that the reintroduction would occur at the end of the month and be deployed across the SQ237/228 service.
SQ237 will depart Singapore at 0145 and arrive in Melbourne at 1100. The return flight SQ228 departs Melbourne at 1530, with a same-day 2120 arrival in Singapore, operating daily and complementing the airline’s already extensive commitment to the city and extending to the country.
