Qatar Airways celebrates its return to Venice, Italy with daily 787 flights.

Qatar Airways has officially resumed service to Venice in Italy, marking an essential step in the airline’s European network.

Service commenced between Hamad International Airport (DOH) and Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE). Venice will join many other destinations that makeup over 170 locations across the Qatar Airways network.

However, the airlines’ European network has been ever-growing, with service resumption in Lisbon just last week. Venice joins Milan and Rome in Italy and becomes the third city to see Qatar Airways service in the country.

Daily flights will be offered between Doha and Venice, with departure from Doha at 0900 and arrival into Venice at 1420. Qatar Airways says departure from Venice occurs at 1650, with a same-day arrival back into Doha at 2310.

Qatar Airways is utilising its Boeing 787 Dreamliner in the service. Similar to the recently recommenced Lisbon service, the airline also utilised the 787 Dreamliner in that location.

The airline further highlights Venice is not just a popular destination for tourists but also an opportunity for people to reconnect with long-lost families and more.

As we enter the summer season, we are excited to resume our daily service to Venice. Italy is a key market for Qatar Airways, and we are committed to providing our passengers with more travel opportunities and seamless connections to explore this wonderful country.

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori

Furthermore, Qatar Airways notes that those flying from Venice through Doha will be able to experience all that Qatar has to offer and its expansive network.

By travelling to Qatar Airways’ hub, customers can access daily flights to ports across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania.
