Lynx Air, one of Canada’s low-cost offerings, has announced from June 23, 2023, it’ll launch a new nonstop service connecting the West and east coast.
The six times weekly flight from Vancouver to Montreal will be the latest addition to the Lynx network as they look to shake up the market.
Lynx says that flights are priced at $69 one way per person. The affordable nature of the flights is what Lynx hopes will bring people onboard their aircraft.

In addition to growing its network for the upcoming summer season, Lynx will also see growth with its fleet. The airline expects additional 737s to join up to make their network possible.
Flights from Montreal include Vancouver and St John’s nonstop services. Meanwhile, the airline flies also from Calgary to Montreal.
Per Cirium data, Lynx has a fleet of 6 active 737-8s, with many on order. The fleet is therefore between 0 and 6 years of age, making it one of the youngest in North America.
