Emirates has published several updates to its business, one that’ll present fresh opportunities to people, and the other a boost to its international network.
Firstly, labelled as a massive talent drive to power the next era of Emirates, the Group will begin the mass recruitment process of more than 17,300 professionals across a staggering 350 roles this year.
Emirates has likened the hiring to filling 58 of its Airbus A350 planes, thus a colossal commitment to the new era, with the roles set to enhance the day-to-day function of the brand.
With the airline included, there will also be a massive hiring effort across dnata, a leading air and travel services provider, which is visible around the world.
Roles to be enhanced include cabin crew, pilots, engineers, commercial and sales teams, customer service, ground handling, catering, HR, finance, and IT. Additionally, specialists in other fields are also required to take the Group one step further.
To make this ambition a reality, the Group has confirmed the hosting of over 2,000 open days across 150 cities worldwide, in a bid to source the best talent for specific roles.

The new recruitment drive, however, comes as no surprise. Over the last three years, the group has welcomed more than 41,000 new professionals, bringing its workforce to 121,000 —a number that places it among the largest in the world.
A New Flight For Emirates
Emirates has confirmed further developments for its route network, with an increased commitment to the island nation of Mauritius.
The Dubai-based carrier states that a third daily flight will commence on December 1, 2025, with the additional service to be operated by a Boeing 777.
Designated as EK709/710, the flight will leave as EK709 from Dubai at 0655 with a 1340 arrival into Mauritius. The return leg departs as EK710 at 1830 and arrives back at the airline’s home the following morning at 0110, all times local.
The newly launched service complements the other two daily flights offered by the carrier, which are operated with the world’s largest passenger plane, the A380, the carrier’s flagship. These flights are designated as EK701/702 and EK703/704.

As a result of the latest network improvement and under a codeshare agreement with Air Mauritius, there will now be options for even more convenient flight timings, further enhancing connectivity.
We recently reaffirmed our codeshare partnership with Air Mauritius and our shared commitment to putting the destination on the global stage by facilitating steady growth in tourist demand for visits to Mauritius. We are also pleased to support and complement the operations of the national carrier, whose services have contributed to our success on this route. The additional daily service will allow both airlines to meet demand from global travellers.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer
Emirates launched services to Mauritius in 2002, and since then, the airline has transported more than 8.8 million passengers, alongside 126,000 tonnes of cargo, on flights to and from the island nation.
These colossal amounts are expected to increase moving forward, thanks to the new flight. This strong commitment has had a profoundly positive impact on the economy and job creation across the nation.
