Emirates Begins Flying To Montreal

There was a historic day for the province of Quebec and Montreal, with Emirates on the 5th of July inaugurating their Dubai to Montreal nonstop service.

The service operated by the Boeing 777-300ER will operate daily and sees Emirates begin flying to a second city in Canada, following Toronto.

Emirates and Air Canada have strategically worked together over recent months to expand both airlines’ presences in each respective region. This has been achieved through an expansion of an existing bilateral agreement.

Business and leisure travellers alongside families are being targeted with this new year-round service, and thanks to the abundance of culture in Montreal, great food, universities and more, the airline believes the connection will be vital moving forward to better connect neighbouring regions to the UAE too.

Emirates is excited to launch our service to Montréal, and to grow our network with a second gateway into Canada. We take this opportunity to thank the UAE and Canadian authorities and partners for supporting the launch of the service, which is expected to positively impact tourism, business and trade in both countries.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer

The Boeing 777-300ER has eight private first-class suites, 42 lie-flat business class seats and 304 spacious economy class seats. The 777 series operates alongside the A380-800 as the only two passenger fleet types in active service.
