Delta has confirmed the deepening of its commitment to Central Texas with the launch of new routes.
The airline says it’ll offer new nonstop service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to Denver (DEN) from November 9, 2025.
This service will operate twice daily and be operated through Delta Connection partner Skywest, providing a fantastic gateway to the Rockies, where Delta says it can capture both leisure and business demand.
Meanwhile, from June 7, 2026, there’ll be a new once-daily service through SkyWest to Columbus (CMH), which is a rising tech and manufacturing spot in the Midwest and of great interest to the airline.
Last of the three new routes confirmed will commence the same day as Columbus, with a twice-daily service from June 7, 2026, through to Kansas City (MCI), known for its rich culture.
Delta confirms that each of its three new nonstop flights will be operated by the Embraer E175 aircraft and will therefore come equipped with its First, Comfort and Main cabin classes.
The operation with Embraer planes will, according to the business, offer a more comfortable ride with space, but in addition, larger windows, interiors and a more modern feel.
Other Changes From Delta
There’ll also be the expansion of existing services, where beginning on April 13, 2026, one daily flight will double, with two flights per day to be offered to San Francisco (SFO).
Delta says the additional flight to be operated by its Airbus A319 aircraft will help meet growing demand between two major hubs and will feature three cabin classes.

Further changes will be made to Indianapolis (IND), where, from June 7, 2026, service will jump from one daily flight to three daily flights, enabling greater connectivity of business and leisure options.
Overall, the growth at Austin has been clear, with more than one million passengers carried already to and from this airport, which is a 12% increase year over year.
This is fantastic news for the Lone Star State! Delta’s decision to open a flight attendant base and continue its expansion in Austin will open more travel choices for Texans, bring hundreds of good-paying jobs, boost local businesses, and further cement Texas as a national leader in economic growth and innovation.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
Additionally, the growth has been made possible thanks to the expansion of services, with markets such as Palm Springs, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas and more.
Customers have also been able to enjoy Delta Sky Club. From October, there’ll be a further significant addition with a permanent flight attendant base in Austin, strengthening the operational presence and long-term commitment.
