Delta plans to begin daily flights from Tampa to Amsterdam during the 2024/25 winter schedule with its Airbus A330-300s.

Delta is enhancing its transatlantic portfolio by announcing service resumption from Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS).

Service will resume on October 26, 2024, with daily flights throughout the winter season. Delta says the Airbus A330-300 will operate between the cities.

These A330s feature four separate products, from Delta One through to the Main Cabin; in between, Delta offers its Premium Select and Comfort+. As a result, customers seeking a wide range of experiences will have access to whatever they desire.

By seamlessly linking Amsterdam’s vibrant international hub—Delta’s most-served airport in Europe—with Tampa Bay’s renowned beaches, Delta is offering customers a gateway to explore the best of Europe and America. With our premium amenities and extensive global network, travelers will have a lot to enjoy during the winter travel season.

Delta also highlights connectivity with KLM and Air France. For those travelling towards Amsterdam, KLM’s network offers onward connectivity to well over 100 cities across the Middle East, India, Africa, and Europe.

Ultimately, the new route will significantly boost the transatlantic offering provided by the major U.S. carrier and strengthen the network between Florida and Europe.

Delta already serves Amsterdam via Orlando, but this extends through other major U.S. cities such as Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis/St Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC) and Seattle (SEA).
