Cathay Pacific Announces Return To Hydrebad

Cathay Pacific has announced another landmark development for its international route network: the resumption of flying to a major city.

In 2025, Cathay Pacific will bolster its overall presence across India through relaunching flights to Hyderabad.

For the 2025 summer season, the Hong Kong-based airline will offer 43 weekly flights across five of the largest Indian cities.

This substantial number is up from 31 passenger flights to four destinations across India. This figure will increase to 39 by March 2025 and 43 by September 2025.

Reccomencing on 30 March 2025, the airline says it remains committed to elevating travel options to cities across India, with this restoration being an important pillar of that commitment.

Cathay Pacific will utilise its Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the service, with initial flights to be operated thrice weekly. These A330s are configured to seat Business and Economy passengers.

The carrier has also confirmed that from 1 September 2025, the Hong Kong to Hyderabad route will increase weekly flights, with the three services jumping up to five.

Cathay Pacific says the flights will operate as CX672/673, departing from Hong Kong on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 2135 with a next-day arrival into Hyderabad at 0045.

The returning leg will depart Hyderabad at 0150 with a 0930 arrival back into Hong Kong, allowing for maximum onward connectivity options alongside the full day ahead for travellers to explore or conduct important business meetings.
