Air Transat has announced a sizeable expansion to its Summer 2024 network from Montreal, Toronto and Quebec City.
The announcement comes as the airline believes it can expand to key markets in Europe and the South with significant recovery levels.
At its peak, the airline will offer 110 weekly direct flights to more than 25 destinations from Toronto alone.
Notably, the carrier will add direct flights to Lima year-round. At the same time, there’ll also be a further increase in offering to key European cities. This includes Ireland, Italy, and Portugal, to name a few.
Vital European cities that’ll see increases include Dublin, Faro, Manchester, Porto, Venice and Zagreb.
While focusing on sunny destinations operating year-round, Air Transat will increase flying from Toronto to Cancun, Montego Bay and Punta Cana.
However, away from Toronto, Air Transat will also increase its flying from Quebec City and Montreal.
Notably, from Quebec City, there’ll be an increase in flying towards Paris. Additionally, heading south, the airline will add a Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale service. However, it’s in Montreal where the significant boosts come.
Paris, Porto, Nice, Nantes, Marseille, Malaga, Lyon, Brussels, Bordeaux and Barcelona will all increase capacity to reflect strong recovery and ongoing demand levels. Plus, there are significant increases seen towards sunny destinations, too.
Focusing on the United States, Orlando, Miami, Los Angeles, and Fort Lauderdale will also increase from Montreal.
