Air France will begin nonstop flights between Paris Charles de Gaulle and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport from May 23, 2024.
The New Route
The Boeing 787-9 is scheduled to operate service between the two locations, and it will be the first time Phoenix and France will be connected.
Air France will operate thrice weekly during the summer season, with services departing on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The flight is expected to depart Paris at 1010, with an arrival in Phoenix the same day at 1210. A departure from Phoenix will occur at 1410, with an arrival back in Paris the following morning at 0915.
Thanks to a service announcement, the belief is that Phoenix is being showcased to the world with a focus now placed on strong economic and business ties with France.
For those working in the council, the new route will also encourage future economic development with key trading partners in Europe. Additionally, there’s the hope that other airlines will observe such a service from Air France and see the positives of launching in such a market.

What Customers Can Expect
Phoenix Sky Harbor says those who book an Air France service can enjoy a three-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner product.
As part of this offering, there are 30 business seats, 21 premium economy seats, and 228 seats in standard economy. The total capacity for Air France’s 787 Dreamliner is 279.
Additionally, Phoenix prides itself on being America’s Friendliest Airport, with options for nonstop service to more than 140 destinations across the United States and Internationally.
Growing upon existing transatlantic services to London Heathrow and Frankfurt, Paris in France becomes another essential addition to improving connectivity.
Additionally, thanks to Air France’s codesharing with Delta, there’ll be increased connectivity around the United States for those from Europe. Meanwhile, those travelling towards Europe can access the extensive Air France and KLM network.
