Aeromexico has announced an expansion of its network in 2024 towards Europe.
The carrier hopes that through the growth of its service, it’ll be able to offer customers more flights alongside more options when travelling to European cities.
Aeromexico will utilise the Boeing 787 to facilitate these growth plans. It calls the Dreamliner the most modern, efficient and comfortable aircraft.
Increasing Flights To Europe
Aeromexico says it’ll add six weekly frequencies to Madrid and three more to Paris, all from Mexico City.
The demand for Paris will only increase during the peak summer season in 2024 as the Paris 2024 Olympic Games occur.
Aeromexico wants to be well-positioned to meet this and believes adding services is the necessary step in the right direction.
The adjustment of flights will represent an 18% increase in flights between Mexico and Europe year-on-year.
For Aeromexico, the increase also smashes a record set only as far back as this summer season as they continue to grow and rebuild.
Breakdown Of The Capacity Increases
Generally, Aeromexico’s European presence will see 65 weekly flights to cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, London, Rome and Madrid.
20 weekly flights will be present between Mexico City and Madrid. The company also says there’ll be seven weekly frequencies from Guadalajara and Monterrey. Thus, 34 weekly flights towards the Spanish capital will be present.
Aeromexico says this is a staggering 22% increase in growth compared to the summer season just gone and will make 2024 one of the company’s most important.
Meanwhile, there’ll be ten weekly operations from Mexico City towards Paris, representing a 34% growth.
Comments From Aeromexico Executive
Last summer, we broke the record for connectivity between Mexico and Europe, and we will do it again next summer, which also coincides with the celebration of the Olympic Games. Our Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft is the most modern, efficient, and comfortable, along with the best talent in the industry, helping us continue to elevate the journey to an extraordinary experience.
