AirJapan, a new addition to the ANA Group aimed at offering low-cost travel, will expand its fleet and business in 2025.
During a recent flight schedule report, the Group said that AirJapan will continue to operate three routes from Narita. This move aims to capture inbound demand in the country.
The Japanese company is expected to receive more aircraft, with the Financial Year 2025 targeted as a significant year of growth for international services.
AirJapan will likely expand towards more cities in Asia. However, the specifics of the locations that’ll be added to the network are yet to be announced.
The timings and routes are expected to be finalised in due course for the newly launched carrier and Peach, which acts as another low-cost division part of the ANA Group.
The AirJapan Routes
AirJapan says that it’ll continue operating the three following routes; these routes, launched since it was established, have seen solid levels of demand.
Operating NQ1/2, the carrier serves Bangkok with seven roundtrips per week. Meanwhile, NQ3/4 sees service to Singapore Changhai with five roundtrips per week.

Lastly, NQ121/122 operates to Seoul Incheon with seven roundtrips per week and is a fundamental part of the airline’s short-haul flying towards South Korea.
These routes originate in Tokyo Narita and are all operated by the Boeing 787, this is the only fleet type featuring in the business thus far with the units being transferred from ANA.
Who Are AirJapan?
AirJapan was launched in 2024 to offer international routes covering Asia; the company acts as a low-cost carrier and is part of the three distinct brands at the ANA Group.
Mainline ANA shipped some of its Boeing 787s to aid it with launch plans, with the aircraft being repainted and configured with the AirJapan cabin product.
Upon launch, the airline hasn’t expanded quickly, instead focusing on offering three modest routes in its first year of operation to get the basics down pat.
In 2025, the carrier is expected to expand further with the arrival of more Boeing 787 Dreamliners, which will also facilitate the launch of new routes.
