Delta has announced a big winter expansion for the 2024/25 season with plans to increase flying towards Latin America and the Caribbean

Delta Air Lines has announced that for the 2024/25 winter season, it will boost flights to the Caribbean to offer customers more warm-weather locations.

Thanks to these changes, the company will serve 50 Latin America and Caribbean cities during the upcoming winter season.

However, notably, the airline says that thanks to these 50 connections, those locations will have access to Delta’s leading hubs in ATL, JFK and MSP, allowing onward connectivity to more than 200 cities worldwide.

The New Flights By Delta

Delta says it’ll offer daily service to Puerto Plata (POP) from Atlanta from November 23, 2024, allowing travellers to explore historic locations.

Barbados (BGI) will also see daily service launched from Atalanta on November 23, 2024. While this service will be daily, the carrier also says that from December 21, 2024, it’ll offer New York JFK to Barbados (BGI) flights. This service, however, is expected to be provided once a week on Saturdays.

A new weekly service will begin on December 21, 2024, between Minneapolis St. Paul and Mazatlan in Mexico (MZT).

Additionally, from Atlanta on November 23, 2024, Delta says it’ll increase flights to Curacao to daily, up from the previous once-weekly service.
