Off the back of a significant new purchase for Boeing 787s, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s goal to see hundreds of millions pass through the location by 2030, Saudia is expanding its network.
The airline has announced its route network launch of 25 new destinations in 2023. The destinations see it travel worldwide, from Africa to Asia to Europe.

It’s quite the expansion for the airline. While the routes have been announced, details are scarce on the schedule of the operations. However, executives at the company say those details will come later.
SAUDIA Group has been carrying the kingdom’s ambitions, values and traditions across every corner of its network, as it flies the nation’s flag around the world. These new destinations will offer greater access and choices to our guests. Given the increase of demand in international travel, this is the right time to expand our global network in new, exciting ways.
SAUDIA Group Director General, H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar
While Saudia has a fleet of over 100 aircraft, it’ll welcome even more in the future to enhance its network and see it work alongside Riyadh Air, a newly launched Saudi-based airline.

Its good to expand but Saudi need to improve is customer service.I tried to fly twice , the first one the the plane didn’t show up (Ethiopia)and ticket office didn’t help,it took months to get refund, the second one ,the customer service at the departure (USA) didn’t let me to take my flight because of lack of knowledge and poor customer service.I bought another ticket on the spot with Turkish which I didn’t have any problem,as always it took months to get refund.
Eagerly waiting for many destinations including Africa. Hope, this news could be a big surprise for all travel lovers.
