Qatar Airways has revealed that from September 1st, it will re-introduce its nonstop service to Auckland, New Zealand, with a daily service connecting Doha to the largest city in the country.

Qatar Airways will deploy its A350-1000 on the route, equipped with over 300 seats, featuring Economy and Business classes.

The initial route by Qatar Airways was suspended at the beginning of the pandemic when New Zealand slammed its borders shut. At that point, it was operated since its conception with the Boeing 777-200LR, thanks to its range of capabilities.

The nonstop service is a welcome return for the airline, which had been doing so while flying to Auckland with a stopover. In addition, returning a nonstop flight will benefit passengers looking to connect on additional Qatar Airways aircraft in Doha.

QR920 will depart Doha at 0150 and arrive in Auckland at 0245 (+1), all times local. The return flight QR921 will depart Auckland at 1500 and arrive at 2315.
