
Low-cost Indian carrier Indigo has announced that it’ll be expanding its network.
A makeup of 16 flights for Republic Day and 12 additional permanent network changes have been announced. The 12 remaining flights after Republic Day will be added from February 1st, 2023, onwards. This includes a ramp-up of frequencies and new services too.

According to Indigo, the flights will improve accessibility and options for travel. Indigo also hopes with further options; they’ll increase tourism into cities around India while boosting the economy.
Air travel is seeing a resurgence in the country, with more and more passengers looking to fly. A large part of this demand is coming from regional centers and as India’s leading carrier we are fulfilling this need by adding new routes, frequencies and restarting operations on some sectors. IndiGo recently touched the landmark of operating 1700 daily flights. with these additions, we are expanding our operations even further and continue to provide affordable and hassle-free connectivity for our customers.
