Finnair has announced its intent to upgrade the interior of its Embraer aircraft.
Upgrading The Embraer Fleet
Over the coming years, Finnair will give its Embraer fleet a fresh and inviting feel.
The carrier wants to include familiar elements from previously redesigned Finnair long-haul aircraft cabins.
As a result, continuity will be present throughout, and Finnair can implement design features it knows are already appreciated and proven.
The Timeline For Completion
Finnair says that the renewal will be implemented during 2024/2025 with a view to the first renewed aircraft beginning re-entry into service by the end of 2024.
With 12 Embraer aircraft in the fleet at Finnair, the company says the aircraft has 100 seats available.
Comments From Executive
We want to improve travel comfort and provide our customers with a high-quality travel experience across our route network. We will bring similar elements and feeling to our Embraer fleet as we have used in our previously redesigned Airbus wide-body aircraft
Ole Orvér, Chief Commercial Officer for Finnair.
The Finnair Fleet
Away from the E190 aircraft, Finnair operates a fleet of Airbus aircraft alongside some ATR propeller planes.

Finnair also flies the Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 series.
