Air Transat Announces Some Winter Routes

Air Transat has unveiled its 2023-2024 winter flying schedule for the Maritimes, with Moncton and Halifax welcoming destinations weekly.

To meet growing demand, the airline will bring up the launch date of services in preparation for the holiday period and cold points of the year.

Halifax will see the highest number of cities and frequencies with 4x weekly flights to Cancun, 1x weekly to Cayo Coco, 1x weekly to Holguin, 1x weekly to Montego Bay, 1x weekly to Puerto Plata, 4x weekly to Punta Canada, 1x weekly to Santa Clara and 1x weekly to Varadero.

Meanwhile, Moncton will see 1x weekly Cancun flight, 1x weekly Punta Clara and 1x Varadero. All these services are focused on south of the U.S. border.

Additionally, the Maritimes will see Fort Lauderdale and Orlando weekly connections from the two respective airports.

Air Transat is committed to being there for Canadians and will have services from the Maritimes will also look to offer substantial flights out of other Canadien ports such as Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa and more.
