Air Canada is adjusting its Airbus A320 operations as part of its 2026 plans.
Firstly, as flagged by aeroroutes.com, the airline will operate its 146-seater Airbus A320 in a J12Y134 configuration. These operations are slated to commence at the beginning of February across the network and continue into March across more markets.
The first routes to welcome this configured aircraft will be Toronto Pearson to Ottawa, followed by Toronto Pearson to Winnipeg and lastly Toronto Pearson to Halifax, all these slated for 1 February 2026.
From Montreal, the airline will also operate the aircraft to Winnipeg and Toronto Pearson on 1 February 2026. Two days later, on 3 February 2026, the airline will deploy the plane on Montreal-Miami flights.

Other notable markets will include Toronto Pearson to Quebec City, Los Angeles (selected dates across February), and Edmonton, Calgary, and Thunder Bay, to name a few, in February and March.
Additionally, from 22 February, Winnipeg through to Vancouver will have the aircraft, followed by Winnipeg to Cancun from 8 March 2026.
Fleet data shows that Air Canada has 16 Airbus A320-200s, averaging over 22 years of age; however, 14 are listed as active in the latest data. This is among the oldest fleet types in the business.
Air Canada Jetz Changes As Well
For Air Canada’s Jetz division, there will also be adjustments in February to where these A320 aircraft will operate, configured to seat 70 passengers.
Montreal to Ottawa will operate on 14 February, 19 February, and 21 February as AC479/476. Additionally, the airline will offer Montreal to Quebec City service operating just twice during the month on 7 February and 8 February as AC1176/AC1177.
Next, Toronto Pearson will welcome connectivity with the A320 to be deployed across service to Newark Liberty from 7 February through 21 February as AC1376/AC1371 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Toronto Pearson through New York LaGuardia will operate on 6 February as AC702/705, followed by 14 February as AC700/703.
Lastly, Vancouver will see a flight operated by this A320 with Air Canada Jetz on 22 February as AC1046/1047, followed by Vancouver to Winnipeg on the same day as AC296/299.
Air Canada Jetz operates four Airbus A320s, all delivered to the business in 2022 after flying with the mainline carrier before joining this division. The fleet is old, aged 32-33 years, and registered as C-FKOJ, C-FKPT, C-FMSX, and C-FNVV.
This Groyp division is very different from the mainline. Air Canada Jetz prides itself on being a premier charter aviation service that delivers superior business-class service to professional sports teams.

For example, the Jetz division operates flights for the NHL team, the Montreal Canadiens, who, during their busy regular season of 82 games, spend a significant portion of it away from the Bell Centre, flying around North America.
With this requirement, Air Canada Jetz’s fleet of Airbus A320s provides a reliable, comfortable business solution, allowing the team to travel in comfort and style at any time of day and throughout the year. This is also seen with other NHL teams.
