Wizz Air is announcing a massive expansion of its network with 16 new routes set to take off.

The leading budget carrier is focusing its expansion point on the development of its Italian network from Venice, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino and Pescara.

Wizz Air says that Italy remains a critical part of its network, and with the ability to grow this market, it is a core focus, as it is already among the largest volume markets.

Expansion from Venice will see a third Airbus A321neo join here, calling the airport home to serve passengers in the Northeast of Italy, with many new flights joining.

Firstly, thrice weekly flying will be offered to Larnaca during the winter season, with departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The first flight is on December 2. During the summer season, the schedule will be reduced to two weekly flights, a minor reduction.

Beginning on December 3, twice weekly flights during the winter and summer seasons, with alternate days, will be offered to Tallinn.

Next, Kutaisi will obtain connectivity, also on December 2, with fares starting at €17.99 and the carrier is committed to offering twice weekly service.

A daily flight to London Luton, another vital airport on the network, will commence from December 1, priced at just €24.99.

Wizz Air is also committed to offering departures on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday through to Valencia with a first flight scheduled on December 1.

Two weekly flights departing on Monday and Friday have been scheduled through to Tel Aviv from December 1, once more from Venice using the state-of-the-art aircraft.

A key part of this commitment is the addition of a third aircraft to our Venice base, which will allow us to offer even more routes and opportunities for passengers in the Northeast. The new connections from Venice, along with those from Malpensa, Fiumicino, and Pescara, are not just a network expansion, but a tangible testament to our investment in Italy and our dedication to serving a growing demand. Offering new connections to Northern, Eastern, and Western Europe means giving our passengers an ever wider and more convenient choice for their travels.
