Emirates is enhancing its service to London by adding a fourth daily flight to London Gatwick.

Commencing on 8 February 2026 as EK69/70, the carrier confirms that the newest Airbus A350 will be featured on its route between Dubai and London Gatwick.

As a result of this latest route change, London as a whole has 12 flights across three airports operating daily, offering customers more choice to select their preferred departure time for greater flexibility.

EK69 will depart Dubai at 1705 with a 2050 arrival at London Gatwick; the return flight, EK70, departs London at 2355 with a next-day arrival at 1100 back in the airline’s home of Dubai.

Emirates says the flights have been explicitly timed, with the last flight of the day between Dubai and London in both directions, meaning the two cities can be linked more closely throughout the day.

Additionally, the service arriving back into Dubai at 1100 provides the perfect time for customers to get a head start on their first day in the city while maximising the opportunity to connect onwards on another Emirates service.

Emirates Airbus A350 Usage

The A350-900 will be the chosen aircraft to operate this service. This is the newest aircraft type to join the Emirates operation and brings a fresh state for the airline, which is attempting to expand its flying network with not just large widebodies such as the 777 or A380.

These Airbus A350s come equipped with 32 lie-flat business-class seats, each offering direct aisle access. The cabin also features 28 spaces in premium economy and 238 economy class seats towards the rear.

As more Airbus A350S are delivered, the Dubai-based carrier will see the jet exposed to more markets. For now, at least, Gatwick becomes the second destination in the United Kingdom to receive the newly delivered plane.

Among some of the first markets was Edinburgh in Scotland, which welcomed the state-of-the-art A350. Edinburgh is part of an extensive operation to the United Kingdom with a staggering eight gateway options.

Emirates services London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh, using a mix of jets such as the 777 and A380, with the A350 recently joining the picture.
