Etihad Airways is expanding its international network with the launch of new routes from 2026.

During the busy summer season of 2026, Etihad Airways will offer seasonal flights to Kraków, Poland, and Salalah, Oman.

The new routes, Etihad says, will enable passengers to discover more unique cities across Europe and the Middle East, in a bid to grow its market share.

These latest route confirmations, which are set to launch within a year, are still part of the carrier’s planned global expansion, which will continue to unfold over the next five years.

Journey 2030, as described, is an initiative aimed at significantly expanding not only across the route network but also in fleet, employees, and all other areas of the business.

The initiative represents the second expansion in the last 15 years to unfold, the first arguably being a colossal failure, as missteps taken by upper management plunged Etihad Airways into losses that exceeded billions per annum.

Now, moving forward, measures are being taken to ensure this doesn’t happen, and after exiting restructuring, Etihad Airways feels more than primed to take on the challenge and continue its expansion.

Details On New Etihad Airways Flights

Etihad Airways says that flights to Krakow will launch on 16 June 2026 with flights concluding on a seasonal basis 5 September, 2026.

Departing as EY163 from Abu Dhabi at 0240, the flight will be offered three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, arriving in Krakow at 0715.

The return flight departs as EY164 and is scheduled to take off at 1105, with a 1900 arrival back into Abu Dhabi, all on the same day. Etihad Airways to use the new state-of-the-art A321LR to make this route happen.

Meanwhile, on a seasonal basis from 21 May 2026 through 15 September 2026, Etihad will offer service as EY687 from Abu Dhabi to the Oman City with a departure at 0830 and an arrival at 1010.

The return flight will depart at 1105 as EY688 and arrive back into Abu Dhabi at 1250, operating the A320.

However, concerning frequency, the airline is offering twice weekly flights from 21 May 2026 through 15 June 2026
