STARLUX is expanding its international network with, as promised, a focus on airline connectivity to the United States.
According to aeroroutes.com, the Taiwanese carrier will use its Airbus A350-900 to offer service from Taipei through Ontario, California.
The company will offer service on June 2, 2025, with regulatory approval still required. Once launched, it will be the latest route to join the Trans-Pacific network.
JX10 will operate Taipei through to Ontario with a 2005 departure and 1705 arrival into California. The return leg operating as JX9 departs Ontario at 2310 with a 0415 arrival into Taipei two days later.
STARLUX will initially offer four weekly flights, with reservations reported to open soon. This represents a significant commitment to the location and a boost to Transpacific flying from the airline.
STARLUX Focuses On Expansion
The aviation industry remains unforgiving at the best of times. STARLUX is a relatively new carrier to the industry and entered during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since its emergence, the company has flown with next-generation Airbus aircraft, allowing it to have one of the most efficient fleets across Asia.

Planes like the A350 have helped drive long-haul flying in the airline fleet, a persistent business focus.
Transpacific flying has been a huge focal point of this long-haul expansion, with, on several occasions, destinations across North America listed as targets for service commencement.
Unfortunately, the Taiwanese company has experienced aircraft delivery delays. It has not received planes when they were initially scheduled, which has thrown curveballs at launch dates and planned expansion efforts.
With that being said, STARLUX has remained committed, and Ontario service represents yet another new location being added to the route map to help elevate market share in a competitive space.
It’s expected with the arrival of more Airbus A350 aircraft, the company will begin adding more international destinations, especially across North America, to its network while also seeing opportunities to up-guage flights to existing locations served.
