Embraer has published its 2024 delivery performance, highlighting that 206 planes were shipped to customers across all its divisions during the 12 months.
The result represents a 14% jump over the performance seen in 2023; other improvements were also seen across the board. In 2023, Embraer recorded just 181 deliveries.
The fourth quarter saw Embraer push upwards to 75 deliveries; this was 27% higher than the third quarter of 2024, when they could deliver just 59 aircraft, representing the typical last-minute push seen as the year ended.
However, the 75 units delivered in the fourth quarter did not represent an improvement or loss from 2023, as Embraer recorded the same number of deliveries in the two most recent years.
These figures are for the entirety of the Embraer division rather than just one precisely. The planemaker produces various planes, from commercial jets to executive aviation, stretching to defence.
Embraaer’s commercial aeroplanes division was responsible for 73 new aircraft deliveries in 2024, which was recorded to be well within the guidelines outlined at the beginning of the year.
The original guidance initially aimed to see commercial airplane deliveries between 72 and 80. However, this was revised to 70 to 73 as economic challenges and continued supply chain disruptions challenged the ability to deliver planes on time.

An Important Future For Embraer
2024 can be considered a positive year for Embraer. Several important deliveries took shape, and more airlines adopted the E2 series, a game-changer.
As Airbus produces its A220 for regional single-aisle operations, Boeing does not have a product that can adequately compete. As a result, in this sector, Embraer knows it has a genuine opportunity to expand its E2 family.
Airlines such as Porter Airlines have rapidly adopted the E2 series and have been able to venture into major international markets across the border from Canada with a plane that customers have widely applauded.
As the Brazilian planemaker looks to scale up production, it hopes more airlines will begin adopting this proven plane from its commercial division long into the future.
