Singapore Airlines has announced flights between Singapore Changi and Beijing Daxing International Airport are slated to commence on November 11, 2024.
The airline says it’ll operate daily flights between the two locations, but the route is still subject to regulatory approval. Singapore Airlines highlights Beijing and the convenient access provided by offering service to Daxing, located just south.
Beijing Daxing isn’t the only route being shuffled. Singapore Airlines also says it’ll increase services towards Beijing Capital from August 5, 2024. The company plans to boost flights to 21 weekly, up from 18 weekly services offered.
Adjustments to Beijing Capital and the launch of flights to Beijing Daxing will result in the airline offering 28 weekly flights to the capital of China by the middle of November.
Singapore Airlines will utilise its Boeing 787-10 on the route, featuring 36 Business Class seats and 301 in Economy Class, thus being a two-class configured widebody.
Singapore Airlines is the first foreign airline to operate services from Beijing Daxing International Airport to Singapore. We believe the inception of Singapore Airlines at Beijing Daxing International Airport will bring about a renewed sense of energy and opportunities, fulfilling the travel demand between both countries as we jointly work together for more good things to come.
Mr Kong Yue, Vice President, Beijing Daxing International Airport
SQ810 will depart Singapore at 0030 and arrive in Beijing Daxing at 0635. Meanwhile, SQ811 will depart Beijing at 0925 with a same-day arrival in Changi at 1550. These times are local to their respective location.
Flights will complement the existing services to China, which extend to 24 destinations on the mainland, resulting in an abundance of weekly flights across mainline Singapore Airlines and low-cost unit Scoot.
