Emirates has announced plans to boost service between its home of Dubai to Vietnam.
As part of the expansion, Emirates will add a second daily flight between Dubai International and Ho Chi Minh City, which will commence on 15 January 2025.
Emirates said that the second daily flight would start on 1 February 2025. However, after much deliberation and following surges in demand around this period, Emirates is bringing forward the launch date.
Notably, the airline cites the Lunar New Year, a period of festivities on 29 January 2025, as a key reason for bringing forward service. The airline’s press release highlights how the carrier is committing to Vietnam as an important market by bringing forward the service.
Emirates will deploy the Boeing 777-300ER on the second daily flight; however, it will use the two-class configuration. This configuration sees the 777-300ER seat 42 in business class and 386 in premium economy, making it a high-density layout to maximum capacity.

EK364 will depart Dubai at 0400 and arrive at Tan Son Nhat International at 1355 on the same day. The returning flight will depart Vietnam the same day as EK365 with an 1825 departure. The aircraft will touch down in Dubai at 2255, all on the same day, with times local to their city.
Emirates is committed to serving Vietnam and believes the country is hugely important to the network’s makeup. Flights are offered from Dubai to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Additionally, the airline highlights its expansive network from Dubai, which provides unlimited opportunities to those travelling from Vietnam onwards.
