British Airways has announced the expansion of its BA Cityflyer network, adding three new destinations for the Summer 2026 season.
Firstly, the airline will launch a service from London City Airport to Saint-Tropez, France. This flight will operate twice weekly, commencing on May 23 2026 and concluding on September 1 2026.
The carrier confirms that this brand-new destination is the closest airport to Saint Tropez, a strategic move by the business to make it easier to reach the glamorous beaches on offer in the area.
We’re excited to grow our network next year with three fantastic new routes. Adding Toulon Saint-Tropez from London City Airport gives customers more choice and convenience when travelling to the French Riviera, further strengthening our leisure offering from the heart of London.

Next, London Stansted will receive connectivity to Olbia in Sardinia, with service commencing on May 23 2026 and concluding on September 27 2026.
British Airways points to the substantial levels of tourism seen here, reaching record levels in 2024 with 18,9 million overnight stays, a staggering 38% increase from the previous year.

By launching this new route, the airline aims to give UK travellers the best chance to visit one of Europe’s fastest-growing holiday spots. These flights will operate twice per week on Saturdays and Sundays, complementing the existing summer seasonal route to Olbia from London City, which was launched.
Olbia from Stansted Airport is perfect for a getaway to Sardinia’s crystal-clear waters and stunning Mediterranean landscapes, and complements existing British Airways services from London City and Heathrow Airports.
Ian Romanis, Managing Director of BA Cityflyer
Lastly, from July 18 2026, to September 8 2026, BA Cityflyer will operate a twice-weekly service from Glasgow to San Sebastián, Spain. With already service from London City and Edinburgh, this provides another original port for passengers.
Three weekly flights will be offered to San Sebastián from London City and Edinburgh, and the newly announced Glasgow services will depart twice a week, adding to the already extended connectivity to Spain offered by British Airways and BA Cityflyer.

San Sebastián from Glasgow offers an attractive break within easy reach for our Scottish customers. These routes will provide even greater options and flexibility for those planning summer holidays in 2026 – and we are confident that all three destinations will be popular with our customers.
Ian Romanis, Managing Director of BA Cityflyer
With a growing route map serving almost 30 destinations across Europe, British Airways has been heavily committed to expanding its BA Cityflyer offering to give customers more choice and flexibility.
All three announced destinations have been specifically selected to meet customers’ travel desires during the summer season and to provide greater access to these markets than ever before, either for the first time or via more cities in the United Kingdom.
