Condor is preparing for 2025 and is already set to substantially change its operations across the next calendar year.
Aero.de exclusively reports that the airline will place a strong focus on developing its fleet and restructuring its overall network.
Fleet Expansion Coming
Condor has 65 aircraft in service, averaging 11.5 years old. The carrier firmly believes in the continued transition towards next-generation aircraft.
Arguably, its greatest commitment to next-gen aircraft is seen in its flying using the Airbus A330neo, of which 17 units are in service and average just 1.7 years of age.

The delivery of the A330neo has enabled the development of its long-haul leisure network while also facilitating the retirement of less fuel-efficient aircraft types such as the 767 and soon-to-be 757.
Condor has single-aisle jets and is slowly transitioning towards the new engine options. It is planning to develop this narrowbody sector of the fleet sooner.
Condor is expected to have eight new A320neo family jets by the end of 2024, and in 2025, more A320neos will be added to help develop the fleet.
Hamburg Flights Cancelled
Major changes are also set to come as part of the airline’s focus on ensuring probability across its business and not remaining in markets that affect its operations.
As a result, Condor will cease many of its Hamburg flights across the Summer 2025 schedule as part of a strategy realignment.
Thankfully, however, its presence will still be present thanks to the airline’s key partners still flying to/from the location.
Further, only specific routes will remain, and services will be significantly reduced, a theme seen industry-wide when focusing on Hamburg.
Aero.de cites a substantial increase in overall costs across the schedule to/from Hamburg, which, upon review, has meant staying in the market can be perceived as a tougher decision.

I love how Condor is gradually shifting from that “cheap” vacation airline to a more professional brand! Flew with them recently – definitely makes a better impression than earlier
