Berniq Airways has announced it will order Airbus A320neo family aircraft to develop regional and international routes in the future.
Revealed at the conclusion of Day 2 at the 2024 Farnborough Airshow, the airline for Libya’s deal came as a shock to most onlookers.
Six units have been included, with the A320neo family at the forefront. However, the contract did not specify specific variants.
It is a pleasure to see Berniq Airways expanding its fleet with the world’s best-in-class single-aisle aircraft. The A320neo family will enable Berniq Airways to provide its customers with unparalleled comfort while offering the airline exceptional economic advantages.
Benoît de Saint-Exupéry, Executive Vice President Sales of the Commercial Aircraft business
Data indicates that Berniq Airways already flies six A320 jets, and the addition of the next-generation family will improve efficiency and allow for route expansion.
