Etihad Airways has announced plans to send its flagship Airbus A350 to Toronto, Canada, as part of a commitment to elevating customers’ experiences.
The Airbus A350 is bringing fresh standards to the Abu Dhabi-based carrier that focuses on improving the experience for travellers.
Using the Airbus widebody to serve markets such as Toronto will align with Etihad Airways’ strategy of continuing to grow and meet demand with the best possible platform.
Flights on the A350 towards the Canadian city will commence on 27 October 2024 with a daily frequency. Flight EY21 departs Abu Dhabi at 0235 with an 0815 arrival into Toronto. The return leg as EY22 will depart Toronto at 1420 with a next-day arrival at 0010 back into the airline’s home.
The Airbus A350 at Etihad Airways has 44 business-class seats, and guests can experience high levels of privacy.
Meanwhile, with forward-facing direct aisle access, Etihad says it’s focused on offering the best possible comfort across the seat, which transitions into a fully flat bed.

Other amenities include noise-cancelling headphones, significant storage for personal belongings, and an 18.5-inch TV screen that will be home to the latest inflight entertainment.
Like many other airlines, the carrier has looked to elevate the experience thanks to a built-in wireless charging dock and Bluetooth headphone pairing, giving customers more options.
