WestJet and Air France Expand Partnership

WestJet has announced a substantial increase in its partnership with Air France, beginning September 25th.

By the end of this month, WestJet customers will see more than 53 European destinations be made easily accessible on a one-ticket journey from Paris.

Thirty-one additional cities in total will be added as part of the new expansion in partnership, these 31 cities across a whopping 11 European countries, too.

WestJet is thrilled to more than double our current destination offerings through our Air France codeshare agreement, significantly expanding opportunities for Canadians to turn their dream European getaways into a reality.

A partnership between the two airlines has been a decade running, and given the successes enjoyed, the pair believe millions more can benefit from more accessible travel between Canada and Europe.

While extending the partnership is fantastic for travellers, WestJet has already expanded its service between Calgary and Paris to year-round. This is a testament to the continued growth they see on the route operated by their 787.

However, with the significant codeshare extension between WestJet and Air France, the Paris connection by WestJet will be even more essential as it enables Canadians to travel effortlessly anytime during the year.
