Turkish Airlines has announced that it’ll acquire further Airbus A350s as part of its future growth strategy.
Specifically, the airline will acquire ten additional A350-900 aircraft.
As a result, the 10 Airbus A350s will add to their already existing A350 operation. Currently, the airline has 14 Airbus A350-900s in service, with plans away from the ten units announced today to acquire more already.
The A350 is part of the next generation of Turkish Airlines and is a wildly popular series with carriers worldwide.
Turkish Airlines says the ten additional units will be delivered between 2025 and 2027 to boost growth.
The Turkish flag carrier has significant ambitions for the future as it seeks to tap into new markets, including notably Australia. Acquiring new aircraft will be hugely influential in the company’s achieving these goals in the long term.
