Lufthansa Group has confirmed its winter 2025/26 schedule as preparations ramp up to offer a robust network moving into the colder season.
For Lufthansa’s mainline division, the winter schedule will emphasise long-haul flying and the implementation of the all-new Allegris cabin, which will feature all classes.
Lufthansa confirms that starting on October 26, the new aircraft with these state-of-the-art cabins will be seen across the network. Daily flights will be offered from Munich to New York (John F. Kennedy and New Jersey-Newark), Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, Tokyo, and Bengaluru thrice weekly.
The German flag carrier is proud of this announcement, as it confirms that the new Allegris cabin will operate simultaneously with the largest number of destinations, a genuine sign of what’s to come for the business.
According to the company, these cabins significantly improved what was previously found, with more than half a million passengers experiencing them and customer satisfaction rates hitting nearly 100%.
Allegris will be introduced on the Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 747-8 this year, with the retrofit to take place in Frankfurt, thanks to the superb facilities the Group has built up across recent times.

Regarding firm route adjustments, Lufthansa is seeing strong demand from Poland and Romania and will thus offer services to Bydgoszcz and Oradea, respectively, through next winter.
Additionally, during winter, the Airbus A380 will fly to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi. This aircraft is hugely popular with customers, and for it to be once again featured on the network is a huge plus with these departures from Munich.
Lufthansa Group Focuses On Other Airlines
Several other adjustments will occur Group-wide, with Austrian Airlines adding Amsterdam as a fourth destination from Innsbruck this winter.
Moreover, the carrier is expanding its service to Bangkok from Vienna with up to daily flights now possible on the schedule.
Further network adjustments, including changes towards Italy, will occur in late October, thanks to the acquisition efforts that have unfolded with ITA Airways and the impact this will have on decision-making.
SWISS will expand its service to Poland and increase connectivity in Romania and Slovakia.

The Switzerland-based carrier confirms its long-haul service to Washington D.C. will continue from Zurich across the colder winter period.
Brussels Airlines is expanding several services, with more weekly connections to markets such as Liberia, Ghana, and Sierra Leone. This carrier will offer greater opportunities in Africa.
Eurowings will be important in connecting more leisure markets. Beginning in November, the carrier will launch its third long-distance route, Berlin to Abu Dhabi flights.
Discover Airlines is also boosting its route network with a nonstop flight to commence from Frankfurt through Seychelles. Alta in Norway will also be added, including flights to the Dominican Republic.

Overall, the Lufthansa Group will experience a mammoth winter season, with many route adjustments, new flights, and responses to increasing demand.
What Airlines Are Part Of Lufthansa Group?
