First Boeing BBJ MAX Delivered
Boeing delivered their first BBJ Max on the 15th of October to a customer. The delivery was announced at the National Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition. The BBJ MAX will now fly to an interior finishing center where the final touches will be applied to the cabin. The aircraft is specifically the BBJ MAX 8 and is part of the 20 BBJ MAX orders placed worldwide.
“We are excited to begin delivering a longer-range and more capable version of the world’s most popular business jetliner,” said Greg Laxton, head of Boeing Business Jets.
The BBJ MAX family is based on the highly successful 737 MAX, the 737 MAX comes in multiple variants including the MAX 7, MAX 8, MAX9 and MAX 10. The family has been a success with over 4,000 orders after being introduced in 2017 with Malindo Air.
Boeing offers the BBJ MAX as a high-end business jet which benefits from a lower total cost in comparison to other business jets on the market. Boeing most recently received an order for the BBJ MAX 7 from Seacons Trading Ltd at the 2018 Farnborough Airshow.
