The arrival of their first 787-9 marks their first widebody delivery. The airline previously only operated the Airbus A320-200 and A321-200. The airline used these Airbus aircraft to operate to 50 cities across China and with the addition of the long-range 787 Dreamliner they will be able to expand their international network into Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, while at the same time increasing flights on existing high-demand services.

Juneyao Airlines have options for a further 5 on top of their current order for 10 should they be pleased with the performance of the Dreamliner.

The airline will be using the Boeing Global Services’ pilot training to help introduce their 787-9s smoothly. This is just one of a handful of added services from Boeing that the airline implements in their operations.
