Lufthansa has announced exciting news surrounding its Boeing 787 Dreamliner as the busy summer season rapidly approaches.
The flag carrier says it will operate its newly delivered 787-9s to five additional North American destinations for the busy season.
Lufthansa will fly their Dreamliner six times a week from Frankfurt to Dallas-Fort Worth and Texas. Meanwhile, they’ll offer four weekly flights to Montreal. This, however, from May 1, will become a daily service with the 787.
As the month progresses, Lufthansa will fly daily to Denver with the 787-9 Austin three times a week. Before this, the airline will see its Dreamliner debut on a route to Detroit from February 13.
Lufthansa has three Boeing 787-9s currently in its operations, with the expectation that two will be delivered very soon, enabling these operations to be possible. However, the 787s will become more prominent as they welcome 32 new aircraft by 2027.
