Etihad Airways has launched a trio of new destinations as part of its commitment to growth.

Three New Routes Launched

Notably, Osaka, Copenhagen and Dusseldorf have debuted for the airline already.

Etihad Airways says it operated its inaugural flight to Dusseldorf in Germany on 28th September, while Copenhagen launched on 29th September. Osaka, Japan, was the final member of the trio, beginning on 1st October.

While these new service launches stole the show, Etihad Airways also increased flights towards other vital destinations.

Kuala Lumpur and Colombo saw capacity increases as part of the continued customer demand across the network.

Comments From Etihad Airways CEO, Antonoaldo Neves

The CEO of Etihad Airways called the new routes and boosting of flights a genuine opportunity and an essential step in enhancing their global network. Not just to increase customer connectivity but also to meet demand and opportunities to make Abu Dhabi a pivotal destination.

We are helping accelerate economic growth for the city by providing more travel options and seamless connections, ensuring it’s easier for guests to visit Abu Dhabi either as a destination, or as part of a stopover as they explore our growing global network

Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Airways.

Etihad Airways Is Targeting Even More Growth

For Etihad Airways, though, the commitment to growing its network and continuing to expand is highlighted through a busy couple of months leading into the new year.

The Abu-Dhabi-based carrier will make a staggering amount of changes to its network, with new routes and increases as it looks to build on demand.

  1. I believe Etihad flew to Düsseldorf before the pandemic. Hopefully they’ll return to Brisbane after a four year hiatus although Australia doesn’t appear a priority for the airline.

  2. I traveled Chennai to Toronto on two times this year
    Both were very good
using it in November for my return trip
