Emirates has announced plans to resume flights towards Nigeria from Dubai once more.
A decision to resume flights following a visa ban lifted on Nigerian customers comes following a meeting between the President of Nigeria and UAE in Abu Dhabi, where essential discussions occurred.
Nigeria has experienced a challenging period that last year saw the United Arab Emirates, home to airline Emirates, suspend VISAs issuance to Nigerians. As a result, the Dubai-based airline suspended its services.
The President of Nigeria has continued to indicate his attempts to resolve the situation with the UAE and get flights to resume. It now looks like that will happen.
Such a dispute between Nigeria and the UAE has been ongoing, with concerns about financial positions and much more.
