El Al Israel Airlines will boost flights to New York in 2024, a landmark moment for the airline.
Boosting flights will be made possible following the United States agreeing to admit Israel into a programme allowing Israeli citizens visa-free entry.
As a result of these visa changes, El Al believes it’ll be perfectly poised to meet the demand levels they’ll see with new flights.
El Al will add a new daily flight towards New York JFK, complementing existing operations to JFK and Newark, equating currently to roughly 33 services per week or around six daily flights on average.
New York has long been an essential destination for El Al, not just acting as a gateway to travel further but mainly as a city to visit. However, their U.S. presence has grown significantly through the years, and with Fort Lauderdale in Florida being added next year, it continues to grow.
Therefore, by adding more frequencies and making it more accessible than ever for travel, the airline firmly believes it’ll be positioned to meet the skyrocketing demand.
