Airbus has unveiled its orders and deliveries for July, and interestingly, new commitments for the A350 were included in the results.

Thanks to the new commitments, Airbus has reported over 1,100 net orders for the aircraft.

Two undisclosed customers ordered the A350, with total orders at 10 for July. The variant selected is the A350-900.

For July, Iberia also scored another A350-900 ordered through International Airlines Group, its parent company. International Airlines Group is home to other major carriers such as Aer Lingus, British Airways and more.

There are currently 516 Airbus A350s in active service. The largest operator of the A350 series is Singapore Airlines, with 63, followed by Cathay Pacific, which flies 29 Airbus A350-900s and 18 Airbus A350-1000s.

Qatar Airways meanwhile has 24 in-service A350-900s and 24 in-service A350-1000s. The Doha-based airline had an 18-month period where it was battling against Airbus over surface defect issues.
