Air France plans to expand its network in the United States with service to Nashville International Airport (BNA) on 14 May 2027 from its hub at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).

The French flag-carrier adding Tennessee to the route map is part of a preliminary operational schedule flagged by Aeroroutes. It would look to operate three times a week with the Airbus A350.

The schedule, flagged by Aeroroutes, appeared in the Global Distribution System Flight Information, or FLIFO records, and suggests the airline is moving toward making this route a reality for the Northern Summer 2027 season.

If it proceeds, the carrier, part of SkyTeam, would deploy the Airbus A350-900 across AF38/39 three times a week, with a scheduled commencement on 14 May 2027.

The airline intends to depart AF38 from Paris at 1410 and arrive in Nashville at 1640. The return flight, AF39, would depart Nashville at 1855 and arrive in Paris at 1015 the following day, all times local to their respective cities.

Once launched, the route would give Nashville a critical nonstop link to Air France’s hub and offer more itinerary options that don’t rely on connections through other U.S. cities.

Nashville adds to the French carrier’s U.S. network

A decision to file for service to Nashville in 2027 builds on Air France’s recent additions to its U.S. network, following Phoenix, Orlando, and Las Vegas.

Phoenix joined the airline’s network in May 2024, and when the carrier published its 2025 summer programme, it increased frequency just 12 months after launching, following strong demand. The airline also introduced four flights a week to Orlando.

When Air France launched to Orlando, it became the 18th U.S. destination, per the airline’s press release; earlier this year, on 15 April 2026, the airline began serving Las Vegas with three flights a week on the A350-900.

The scheduled launch to Nashville therefore follows a similar pattern to other recent expansions, with a thrice-weekly service that can scale up if demand and the initial response are strong.

Air France’s decision to send the A350-900 to Tennessee is also consistent with the product featured across several recent additions to the airline’s network in the United States.

Ultimately, the filing remains subject to confirmation from Air France and approval and could additionally change, whether in frequency, flight times or launch date; however, the framework is being built for the next route in the United States to launch.
